MOVIES

As well as studying when I take breaks I watch movies, but only the classics from the Golden Era Of Hollywood. This week I've watched:

One of my favourites of all time a classic. "Why ask for the Moon when we have the Stars"

Watched this last night a real tear jerker

"I'm on top of the world ma" a classic

The quiet authority Gregory Peck exudes in this film "Masterful" also the only book Harper Lee wrote

The last line in the Garland classic who incindently lost the Oscar to Grace Kelly - Country Girl. The last line in this movie

"Hello I'm Mrs Norman Maine. Great Stuff, I also have the Janet Gaynor and the Barbra Striesand versions.

I stayed up until 2:00 am last night watching Now, Voyager. I've seen it before but once I started watching last night, I had to see the end, just to hear that final line that you quote. I love Bette Davis in just about anything and I always cry at the end of Dark Victory. Great movie choices!--Sheria

The old ones are almost the best ones.  Sometimes a good movie comes along but the old ones are definitly classics.  Linda in Washington state

Yasmin, thank you for visiting my journal. I hope you will come back soon! I have you on alerts also.

I love Bet. The dog I used to have was named after her because she had Betty Davis eyes. =.)
